    Nov 3–7, 2025 The Department of Chemistry is planning an in-house conference tentatively named the C. Eugene Bennett In-House Chemistry Conference for this fall. This symposium is designed to provide graduate/undergraduate students in the Chemistry Department with a platform to present their research, learn from their peers, and engage with leading experts in various fields of chemistry. More details to come.

  • Important deadlines for abstract submission
    The abstract submission deadline for oral presentations is Sunday, September 28, 2025, 11:59 pm EST. Notification to authors of oral abstract acceptance will be on Friday, October 10, 2025.  
    Abstracts not accepted for oral presentation will be automatically presented as posters. 
    The abstract submission deadline for posters is Sunday, October 5, 2025, 11:59 pm Pacific Time. The poster boards are large: height x width = 4' x 8' = 48" x 96" = 120 cm x 240 cm.

    • The following MS Word Template for abstract submission should be used for both oral and poster submissions.

    • The submitted abstract should be a one-page PDF document that follows the instructions described in the template.

    • Please name the file as PRESENTING_AUTHORS_FIRST_AND_LAST_NAME.pdf, e.g., JANE_DOE.pdf.
