Abstract: In my presentation, I will give an overview of Cambrex’s role in the world of drug development, as well as give some background/perspective on the career path I’ve chosen. Cambrex is a contract development manufacturing organization (CDMO) with multiple locations in Europe and North America. They provide drug substance, drug product and analytical services across the entire drug lifecycle. They specialize in small molecule, branded and generic markets for API and dosage form development and manufacturing, and in large molecule and viral/cell-based therapeutics. I have spent the last 11+ years with Cambrex and currently lead a team of 70+ people as Senior Director, Chemical Development at the High Point, North Carolina location.
